Just installed zwave js and have to update the names (on a brand new install of HASS as well).
However, the entity_ids are not updating, even though it clearly states that that is exaclty what is going to happen. 
Is this known to anyone? Is it a bug? I have 199 entities to modify, so a shortcut would be appreciated.
Disabled entities do not get renamed and I am unsure if a “retry” of a rename works/is supposed to work. Are you using any special characters maybe?
Thanks. Renaming a device typically will update the entity names. However, none of the entity_id’s are updated. Does it update the entity_id for you?
Nope, at least not anymore for my devices that I already once renamed…
