I’m using the Homebridge nest plugin to bring additional nest devices (locks and nest protects) into HomeAssistant via the HomeKit integration. It works great but I don’t seem to get battery information in HA. I can see the battery info (really just an “OK” and “Low” status) in Homebridge but it doesn’t pass it along. I was hoping it might be present in an attribute of the provided entities but it doesn’t seem to be the case.
I also looked to see if I could get device info from the homebridge API but there doesn’t seem to be a REST endpoint with that info.
Does anyone have a suggested work around?
