Does anyone know about battery powered rfid reader that submits code via zigbee?
this (Zigbee Intelligent Keypad - secure, and keyless access control - frient) can do it - but I don’t want an alarm pad - just want to swipe a tag and get the id in home assistant.
Any ideas?

Hi,
Actually, RFID is quite complicated to manage on battery power because it consumes too much energy. So there has to be a compromise between constant reading and waking up the device to trigger a read.
