Battery-powered Zigbee to IR conversion: hardware recommendations?

Hi all,

I have a HiFi amplifier that can be switched on and off with an old school IR remote. I now have made that into a smart speaker system using an Esparagus medialink. I would like to switch the amplifier on and off from HA.
I’ve made an IR remote before with an ESPHome setup powered from a usb adapter, but in this case if possible I would prefer a small form factor (few cm, like some of the temperature sensors for example) battery powered device that I can stick on the front of the amplifier. I suspect Zigbee is better for that, and I have a well-functioning Zigbee network in place (ZHA).
The one that pops up in my search engine is the Tuya UFO-R11. I’ve seen warnings before about Tuya devices being finicky in ZHA. Any experiences with this device and/or alternative recommendations?
Thanks!

I have two of them. Also to control my amplifiers. They are rather reliable. I would say, buy one and see if it suites your purpose. They are not that expensive.

Bedankt!, I will order one and see how it goes.
