Yes i have found it works fine on 3.3V (i think?).
I only went by the espbords.dev and others say.
VCC– Power input pin. Accepts 5V to 12V DC (5V is recommended for ESP32 compatibility). Supplying correct voltage ensures stable radar operation.
I have since found this:
No Output On 5V reason
Sigh, All part of the learning curve 
Its hard to tell if “knockoff board” or not on amazon.
Now the question is: Is it going to be worth while bridging or Not ?.. at the moment I’m siding with no, as it seems to work OK
