Curious if anyone has thoughts/suggestions for a motion sensor that will be in a travel trailer/RV. I’d like to know if someone breaks into it when it’s parked at home, but I don’t want it to overly drain the battery trying to find the hub when I take it on the road, nor do I want it to mess up anything on the HA side by disappearing regularly.
I do have extra zigbee and zwave sensors - I imagine one of those will be fine, and I’m probably being overly pedantic, but I’m wondering if there are any opinions on which one recovers better in this use case, or if there’s a better platform for this sort of thing (wifi? esp/sonoff/tasmota?).
