Best DIYHue setup

Hi
I have HASSOS installed as a VM on a small beelink device with a Philips hue hub connected. I just ordered a skyconnect dongle and want to add non hue devices through diyhue, but there’s lots of options and I don’t know which is best practice.

Would I be better having diyhue installed as an addon, on a raspberry pi or in a docker container?
Should I pass the zigbee dongle to home assistant or diyhue?

I’m sure any of these would work fine but how are most peoples setups.

I am also looking into this, did you figure out something that works good? I have all my zigbee devices in HA with the skyconnect, but I want to have a few devices connected to my hue synk.
