Best method to migrate to new server

I’m currently running HAOS on a very OLD Intel NUC. Did some benchmarking the other day and it is actually 1/3 the speed of a RPi 5.

What is the best way to migrate the current installation over to a RPi? I currently have the Google backup add on installed. Do I just need to run a backup, make a new RPi HAOS install, install the Google backup add-on, and then a restore from backup?

Pretty much just that. Only things you may need to change are ip address related and port related. Zigbee or wave dongles and remote access stuff for example.

Just wanted to report back that Google backup worked great. I backed up the current HA installation on my NUC. Verified that it successfully uploaded to my Google Drive account. Shut down the NUC server.

Started up the new RPi5 and entered dummy credentials to get it online. Added the Google Backup add-on, selected the most recent backup on Google Drive and restore my system.

Rebooted the RPi when the restore finished and everything was working just like before! Thanks to @Arh for confirming this was the path forward.
