Looking to incorporate several motion sensors into Home Assistant. My problem is these will be placed across several different buildings. Using devices that require communicating with a Zigbee or Z-Wave hub is out of the question. Any suggestions on a good Wi-Fi connected motion sensor?
Since you’re talking Wi-Fi, I would recommend either the Everything Presence Lite which does mmWave, multi-target tracking in up to 3 zones, ambient light sensing and also act as a bluetooth proxy.
For something with a PIR, temperature and humidity along with a single zone mmWave I would recommend the Everything Presence One but they’re sold out. Likely because I think it’s going to get a refresh to add in multi-target mmWave.
I’ve got a couple of the Ones, but I’m likely to get a bunch more of the Lites since I the light sensor and mmWave are generally what I need, along with the bluetooth proxy. Besides, they’re less expensive
