Best options for flood alarm notifications?

hi, i live in a london basement, last year i was flooded out, i’d like more warning next time it happens so now i have an aqara flood sensor.

atm if the sensor triggers i get an email and a push notification on HA android.

i’d really like to send sms or whatsapp to everyone who lives here, and i’m sure there are other ways it would be good to notify… i guess some kind of audible alarm, but i suppose would have to be a dedicated to that purpose?

anyway, i bet others have done this, what works, what doesn’t, what’s worth exploring?

For important things like fire, leaks, etc… I use the companion app critical notification (“high priority” for Android) This way you get notified even if your phone is in do not disturb mode.

yeah i’ve done that, i’m thinking more about if i’m away, or asleep, that it would be nice to send sms or whatsapp to people in/close to my house, who are not homeassistant people…
