Best practices in final installation

Hi,

I’m relatively new to ESPHome, but it’s a lot of fun so far.
After a lot of playing around, I now have a few plans on which sensors to put where and where to put the board etc.
I wonder how you proceed when making the installation fixed and permanent? How do you connect sensors outside of the enclosure? Which enclosures do you use? What cables to you use? How do you hide the installation or make it the least ugly?

Depends which board, which sensors, whether you have a 3D printer etc etc.

Some sensors are better outside an enclosure, or well ventilated (I am thinking temperature, humidity).

Search the forum. Multisensor should get you started as a search term.
