Best sequence for reboot? (Core, Supervisor, Host)

Hello!
So far, about 2x per year, something isn’t working, so restarting Home Assistant sorts it all out so everything is working again. (Also I am now doing some app daemon stuff that could use a restart once in a while)

So if I want to proactively restart things before a special event to make sure everything is working freshly, would I do it in this order???

  1. restart core first
  2. restart supervisor 2nd
  3. reboot host last

…or does #3 do all of them at the same time?
Any thoughts would be helpful.
Thx! Frenchy (aka Steve French)

HA installation#1 = VirtualBox on Windows10
HA installation#2 = rPi4
HA installation#3 = rPi4

Rebooting the host does all three, so steps 1 and 2 are redundant.

You said you wanted to restart home assistant, so 1 is all you need.

But if you want to restart the whole machine @tom_l is absolutely right.
