I have very simple requirements, which are to speak with my Solis Hybrid inverter and ask it to charge from the grid during overnight cheap electricity tariffs, then switch back to only charging from solar outside of these times.
I have trawled dozens of articles and videos, but as yet have no hardware set up on HA.
I believe for Solis does not have an add in and instruction need to be coded with Python. I’ve seen someone using a virtual computer to host HA, with a Raspberry PI being used to control the python coding.
Can anyone confirm the best set up and what software versions need adding to each machine?
For info, I have a Raspberry PI 3b (just ordered, never use done before!), a spare desktop windows PC, and a Samsung tablet (that i want to use as a HA dashboard display).
Any help is honestly really appreciated
