Best solution for my Smart Home (different Gateway Devices)

Hey there so I want to optimise my Home and thought about what is the smartest way to drop out as many devices as possible to have only my Pi/Homeserver left.

I have the following devices and technologies at home:

  • Multiple Echos with child entities
  • Pi Homeserver running HA in Docker
  • Tahoma (Somfy) controlling all my Windows, Shutters. Also multiple outdoor sensors for temperature, brightness and wind. In the Gateway itself there are dongles for: Z-Wave Tahoma Module and an EnOcean Gateway
  • Ring Alarm System

Right now everything is connected to my HA instance either directly or with plugins. But I was wondering if I can drop some gateways here, like the Tahoma device. So in the end I would only need my PI, Ring and Alexa Devices.

I thought I can buy a usb zigbee dongle and use all the usb dongles from my Tahoma right on my PI for same functionality. But I don’t know if this is supported at all.

Maybe I need different dongles for that approach?
Would I need to connect these dongles to Smart Life beforehand or can I use them directly in HA (docker)?

Thanks for suggestions and tips in advance!
