I have an old TED5000 that I bought for my old solar installation. I was originally using it to monitor generation off the 2 solar 120V legs, but I now also want to measure my two incoming utility legs to validate what the utility is billing me for.
But the TED only has 2 MTUs, and I need at least 3 or 4. I have 2 feed legs coming from the utility (single phase 240V service, probably not balanced so need 2 MTUs), and two legs coming from the solar system (240V probably pretty balanced, so 1 MTU might do it). TED doesn’t sell the 5000 anymore, and in fact they’re not selling anything while they design the new TED 2.0 (not sure how you run a company like that - no revenue??)
So, any recommendations on a system that can monitor power flow on 3 or 4 120V legs that works well with HA? Thanks!
