So I have a Sonos AMP plugged into an Audioflow Smart Speaker selector. This lets me choose which speaker(s) to have the sound put played through. See below image. I’d like to be able to setup the ability to group different speakers with different media plays such as my living room Alexa (media_player.jason_s_echo_studio) with the Kitchen Speaker. So Alexa Play whatever song to that device it will play on the alexa and to the kitchen speaker. Another example would be to be able to select a song from Spotify to play only on the roof deck speaker. of course not at the same time as the Amp is the source for all the speakers on the list. Would a universal media player be the way to go? Or media player join be the way to go? But how do I select the right speaker for the amp?
Hello! I’m sorry to bother you, but I have some questions for you. But I don’t know how to solve your problem, I want to ask: If I have another sonos AMP and I connect several passive speakers to the AMP, can I control a speaker connected to the AMP to play music by configuring the sonos entity of the home assistant and connecting the home assistant? Hope to get your reply, thank you very much!
