Best way to integrate NUT/UPS into my setup

Hi There, I would love some feedback on what peoples thoughts are in regards to the best way to setup NUT and my UPS’s into my setup with HA being the most important thing  Essentially the Network UPS runs for a LONG time when power is lost, and nothing really needs shutting down so im not concerned with that. It’s more the right place to have the NUT server. I currently have:

UPS 1 “Server UPS” Dynamix Defender 1600VA, which has the following connected:

  • Synology DS1515+
  • Plex Server (Windows PC, Core i5, 1 SSD)
  • Home Assistant Server (Dell OptiPlex 9020 Desktop Micro)

UPS 2 “Network UPS” Cyberpower Value600E, which has the following connected:

  • Fibre ONT
  • Ubiquiti EdgeRouter X
  • 2 x 8 Port Network switches (1 has 4 POE ports with 2 cameras connected)
  • Philips Hue Hub

Currently I have setup NUT as a HA Add-on and then connected the Synology (UPS Type: Synology UPS Server) and Plex (WinNUT Client) to it. I have yet to actually test all of this to see if it works correctly and currently have it set not to shutdown the host.

The Synology has a NUT server built in, so I could connect the Server UPS to that and then setup Plex and HA as clients. But I kind of want HA to remain on the longest.

Any thoughts or input would be greatly appreciated.
