Best way to send UDP packages? Supplier protocol available

I have a Blauberg Smart-Wifi ventilator: Smart and energy efficient Domestic fan BLAUBERG Smart Wi-Fi | BLAUBERG

For the ventilator an UDP protocol is available, see:

I have (limited) coding experience. What would be the best way to implement communication with this device using HA?

Try this

You’ll have to create a custom integration

Wouldn’t it be a bit more simple to just use a script?
It would be a very simple functionality: turn fan on, off / set speed and request state.

That’s it …

This doesn’t work. It’s using modbus and my ventilator is using UDP.

You asked for “the best way” not the simplest

I am looking at this fan as well. Can I ask if you like it HW-wise? I read it may be hard to install and noisy at high RPM—is it so? I am looking specifically for low-noise fan for 24 hour operation.

At low speed it’s ok, but you still hear it. I have it in an utilities room next to the kitchen.
The fan often looses it’s wifi connection. Only resetting the power helps. The humidity measurement is questionable too.
Just see it as an adjustable fan.
