Better Arlo Baby support

I know and have configured the current Arlo component/platform more here (Arlo Support (Sponsorship))

I only have an Arlo Baby and would like more of its features and sensors to work… Also the image/camera does not work.

Sensors would include, since the Arlo baby has support for these and you can use them in its app:

  • temperature.
  • humidity.
  • air quality.
  • baby cry detection.
  • motion detection.

Features that you could create services for are:

  • turn on/off the push/email notifications.
  • turn on/off the baby cry detection.
  • turn on/off the light.
  • turn on/off the media player.
  • turn on/off the motion detection.

I could probably do this myself but I just don’t have the time, I would also consider paying someone a bounty.

edit; I went and double checked the component and I see some of this is available and I have ‘striked through’ those requests https://www.home-assistant.io/components/arlo

@jurgenweber: You can remove that strikethrough for the sensors. Even though they are officially supported they don’t actually work (anymore?). All these sensor values show up as ‘unknown’.

Yeah, sensors stopped working for me about 4 weeks ago, not sure what changed there. But for sure, the other sensors would be great too.

Yeah, it all stopped working for me as well after a recent upgrade, we should file an issue on github and ping tchellomello

Latest version has all the sensors working again.

Is there any support for the night light/ audio player?

Agree, there seems to be support for all of this in the pyarlo library for some time now, the sensors works for me however the last video does not, the library seems to offer the ability to live stream as well and all of the controls for the media player, light etc… are in there too, would be great if someone could be the support in

any update on that?
the movement and baby crying sensors will be very helpful
