Better Lux sensor outdoors?

I would like to create an outdoor Lux sensor.

I have the option to choose between the following sensors

  • BH1750 two different packages
    1.GY-30
  1. GY-302

and

  • MAX44009 : which was mentioned as outdated but with a “ultra-wide 22-bit dynamic range from 0.045 lux to 188,000 lux”

which one to buy? and suggest any other if you think is better than these options.

also what size of the gland to use with a transparent lid waterproof box?

A BH1750 has worked flawlessly for me for years. Can’t comment on the other one as I have never used it.

personally, I had 3 bh1750 fail on me, but the latest two have been working fine for the last 2 months. One on an aquarium other near a TV.
