When it comes to both forecasted values like temperature forecast or estimated solar panel output and already decided future values like electricity prices, every integration has their own way of handling it and there is no consistent way of visualising or automating based on these values.
It would be nice to have
- A way to have a graph that shows the historical values and the next X hours of the forecasted values. (similar to the solar production card). Or way to store these values so that custom cards can display them.
- A consistent way of adding automations for these, like adding a trigger 1h before the temperature is forecasted to go below 0C or 1h before the electricity prices go above a certain threshold.
- Bonus feature: automatically create a forecast based on historical values that can be used in the above features when official forecasts/future are missing
