I suspect it is this gimmicky thing

Would be quite cool to have in HA, but there are plenty of threads with ideas for bird feeder + camera integrations. Esp cam should do it. Or a pi plus cam.

any progress on this? Someone gave my wife one of these and I would like to get it integrated in.

Would it be able to catch the cam ?
With generic cam?

I bought my wife a birdify for Christmas and hadnā€™t set up HA at the time and wasnā€™t thinking about integration/API.

Birdify doesnā€™t offer an open API and Iā€™m not finding a ā€˜reversed engineeredā€™ one anywhere.

These 2 apparently offer open APIs and even integration

  • Bird Buddy
  • BirdNET-Go

But for me that would trading off feature/function for integration.

I got the birdify feeder 2 proā€¦
So i guess i need to experiment with itā€¦

Any update on this? Would be great to integrate Birdfy into HA :slight_smile:
