Black Friday Deals

I’ve started to keep a list of various Black Friday deals that I’m interested in buying for my home and figured I’d share. I’m looking specifically for things that work with Home Assistant. I hope this helps!

I would avoid wifi plugs and go with z-wave as they are, in my opinion, far more reliable. Also, have a look at the Xiaomi roborock s50 vacuum cleaner… integrates into home assistant and a great price… we love ours…

You can get really super cheap camera’s on aliexpress that work just as well as the big brand names… in fact the new nest one looks exactly like the $16 Digigoo ones…

For media streamers, I assume you want to plug this into an HDMI porttv in a … I would suggest rather spend the money and get an HDMI pc stick, you can then load things like Kodi, plex or whatever without sticking to a propriety service/brand…

Thanks @uiguy! I added that RoboRock and Digoo camera to the list.

For the media player, that remote is something that we put our hands on more often, and so going to stick with a name brand there for the WAF.
