On my NetGear router administration page, my device shows up with name of ‘–’. When I include this in my known_devices.yaml file:
--:
hide_if_away: true
icon:
mac: 10:10:10:10 (just as an example)
name: my-phone
picture:
track: true
vendor: Apple
I get an error:
Please check your config., notification_id=invalid_config, service_call_id=2280098246896-2>e[0m
e[32m2017-11-21 11:22:24 INFO (MainThread) [homeassistant.core] Bus:Handling <Event state_changed[L]: entity_id=persistent_notification.invalid_config, old_state=None, new_state=<state persistent_notification.invalid_config=notifying; title=Invalid config, message=The following components and platforms could not be set up:

Any suggestions on how to fix this? I don’t believe it’s possible to change the device name via the phone itself OR with the NetGear firmware.
