BLE beacon transmitter - privacy and security

I’m about to use HA companion app transmitting BLE beacons to detect me at the door and unlock when I’m close. I have some concerns though.

  1. Is my thinking correct that anybody can track my presence nerbay by listening to the beacon identifier? Or does it change ID with time similarly to AirTags in order to preserve anonymity? Otherwise is there a ready to use app and integration that sends randomized identifiers that only receiver knowing the seed understands?
  2. Can my beacon ID be just copied? So someone listening to BLE traffic can just learn my ID and set the same on their phone and thus unlock my door? I suspect answer is yes. Any way to make it secure?
  3. Can I enable/disable the transmitter in my companion app using HA automation? I want it off when I’m home or far from home. I want it ON only when approaching home. I know there is an option to keep it on within home network only, but this doesn’t help.
