Blind close by itself ( Aqara Roller Shade Driver E1 )

( Aqara Roller Shade Driver E1 )

I have 4 aqara blinds (3 on Firmware: 0.0.0_0027 no problem)
but my new one on Firmware: 0.0.0_0030, is “closed” once a day by itself - only showed in HA as closed, the blinds dont close really.

What could be the problem?

I’m having the same issue. When I check the status of the device in Zigbee2MQTT I see high number in “power_outage_count” (331). I’m guessing the device resets and when that happens it will lose information about the position, thinking it’s closed. I’m yet to confirm this theory.

Yep, happened again and power_outage_count got incremented. So I guess there’s something wrong with my device. I guess I’ll try to open it and unplug battery.

I re-updated mine to same version firmware, and i did not have the problem after that. Dont know why, but it worked.

I think I solved this, so here’s what I did for future reference. I learned that resetting the device won’t reset the open-closed ranges, so I removed it from Zigbee2MQTT checking the force option, then I enabled devices to join and I’ve put E1 in pairing mode. Once paired Z2M found a software update for it and I gladly accepted it. This seems to have solved the issues.
