Hello community
I’ve been addicted to HA for a few weeks now. My house is completely equipped with LCN, all basics (lamps, heating, socket, contacts, locks, …) are integrated via LCN integration (GREAT WORK alengwenus!) and can also be controlled via UI and a few automations and scripts.
Of course, all blinds are also integrated. But here is also my problem. LCN cannot provide positioning data. Only run, stop and reverse commands can be processed; there is no feedback from the bus.
Idea is now a template? in HA to create a positioning entity that is generated using a timer (enter running times manually). Positions would then of course have to be temporarily saved.
I searched for a long time in the relevant forums, but couldn’t find an implementation like this or something similar. Maybe there is someone here who has already implemented this and would share the YAML code with me/us.
I know the logic of how to do it, but after a few weeks in HA I’m not yet ready to implement it myself.

Das gleiche Problem habe ich auch. Es gibt eine Integration, um die Fahrzeit in einen prozentual en Positionswert zu übersetzen. Leider erfordert die Integration einen Schalter für hoch und einen für runter, die sich mit LCN aber nicht abbilden lassen, da die Steuerung über die Relais funktioniert.
