Apologies for any errors as I’m new here and new to Home Assistant. Several weeks ago i added my Blink cameras to my dashboard. I was not ready for any automations as I’m just trying to build up my devices on HA. Unfortunately I purchased all my products prior to starting home assistant so most of mine are not native. Anyway, the reason for my post is overnight my Blink Cameras were no longer working at all on HA. Temperature, Battery and Motion were all i currently had until I was ready to do more. I have removed the integrations from HA for Blink. I have restarted. I keep getting an invalid credentials messages and once received an already in progress message. So I am unable to add my Blink integration back to HA. I would appreciate any input/advice. If this is an incorrect post please let me know. I have used some AI engines along the way with no success.
In the integrations page, top right menu is the credentials manager. Ther you can delete the wrong credentials and try again.
Same happened here. Blink integration stopped working yesterday, so I deleted and readded it. Now I can’t log on, states my credentials are invalid. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Same issue here! I thought I was going crazy!

A while ago I got this email:
" Our records indicate that one or more of the mobile devices associated with your Blink account is using an outdated version of the Blink Home Monitor app.
While your Blink system will continue to function normally, after September 29, 2025, you will not be able to access your Blink cameras or clips on that device until the app is updated.
As of September 29, 2025, Blink will require all customers to regularly update their app to ensure continued access to their Blink system. This will allow us to deliver the best overall experience possible and maintain strict security standards while protecting your data and privacy. Unsupported versions of the Blink Home Monitor app will direct you to update to the latest version before you can access your system. "
I don’t think I had an outdated version of the app, I suspect Blink HA integration uses APIs or auth that has been deprecated. Did anyone else get this email?
EDIT: Looks like blink python library update confirms this: Release blinkpy-0.24.0 · fronzbot/blinkpy · GitHub
Is there any updates on this?
This is a workaround for the Blink authentication. It will get merged into HA Core in a future update.
Some of us were using an older smartphone app version as the newer versions like to throw in ads randomly. The real change didn’t kick in until last week or so though, which is when the HA integration also broke. Older apps now can’t log in, though oddly, I can still get notifications with screenshots just like I used to.
As you suspected, the API verification changed, requiring the integration to be fixed.
It works mate!!! Thank you very much ![]()
Looking forward to the merge.
That works fine
