Blink Integration stopped working and can't login

I know I wrote those docs :smiley: The limitation is we just don’t have the api url yet, nothing on Amazon’s side. It could be that they’re obfuscating the url to make it difficult, but their api has been relatively straightforward for years so I doubt they’ve made any changes now

The Blink Integration is working again, just need to install the plugin and accept the SMS Authentication: blink

I cannot log the integration in, getting ‘Invalid Authentication’

Would you mind sharing what the “Plugin” that you installed to get the SMS Authentication to work. I have a blink setup, where the account was locked out. I removed it out of HA during that time and I cannot for the life of me get it added again. It is not sending the pin to email and/or SMS on my phone.

I am running core-2021.3.4 and Supervisor 2021.03.6.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Hi Randy,

I use the Home Assistant plugin and I got the email from Blink with the code, enter the code to the pluging and works!

Try to start from the beginning it should works!!!

Make sure you have a valid email registerded on the Blink app because they will send you the code for the validation.

I am so sorry to get back to you over the last 9 days. My wife and I received our second covid shots and we were down for a little while resting. The weirdest thing happened, I think that my account was locked out I emailed blink and as soon as they replied back I was able to connect the account back into the integrations page. The weird part is I emailed once about it and they stated nothing was wrong until I emailed them twice about the issue of not receiving a pin, after trying to login.

I am guessing it was something on their end that was causing the issue.

Lucky you. In Germany, we are far away from even our 1st shot. Good to hear, that everything is fine again with you.

I’ve removed and reinstalled the blink integration. It says enter code emailed but no code is emailed (app has my correct email). I hit enter (blank code) and it seems to take it but now I don’t see any entities. I’m starting to get the dreaded blink txts again with codes but no idea where to enter them. Any help??
