Blue SLIM ID - Supported?

The iBeacon tracker docs suggest that the Blue SLIM ID is compatible with Home Assistant, but I haven’t had any luck getting it to be picked up.

Other iBeacons are working fine with my setup (several ESPHome devices are Bluetooth proxies). I use the one provided by my phone through the HA app, for example. It also picks up my car, which has Bluetooth, and many other nearby beacons.

The ELA Innovation app also doesn’t appear to be listed in the Play Store. It can be sideloaded from their website, but seems to be very unstable (frequent crashes when I try to use it to configure the beacons).

It can pick up the beacons from the app though, and my phone can see them as Bluetooth devices when searching nearby. (BT devices pop up matching the ID printed on the side of the Blue SLIM ID hardware itself.)

Has anyone had any success getting Home Assistant to see them?

Hi, All ELA BLE tags are by default using the ELA protocol, you can can it to Ibeacons and you will see it in HA

How would I make that change? Using the ELA app?
