I’ve been really glad of the new Bluetooth integration. However, I seem to be having issues with the adapter. I’ve bought a new adapter that was listed as compatible with Home Assistant and Mac OS X. I am running Home Assistant through a Virtual Box VM and it’s been working just fine. The original Bluetooth adapter was picked up by Home Assistant with no issue. However, since I’ve tried to replace it Home Assistant won’t let go of it and will only search for that one particular Bluetooth adapter. I’ve unplugged it, I’ve replaced it in the Virtual Machine. It still won’t pick up any other Bluetooth adapter.
Question 1:
Is there a way to remove the Bluetooth adapter from Home Assistant?
I’ve also been getting issues with the Bluetooth adapter that I have posted a screenshot of below:
I have no idea what is going on with the adapter, but it is sending the Mac Mini crazy with the fans running nearly non-stop and these error messages piling up.
Does anyone have any explanation for this? Or suggestions to stop it (I know I can remove the Bluetooth integration and it will stop, but I’d like to keep control of my SwitchBot Curtain devices local)
