Bluetooth BLE Tracking

Hi,

I want to track some devices with Bluetooth and my Raspberry Pi3b. This pi is running Home Assistant and has built-in Bluetooth and postioned at the front door. I have a couple of nRF51822 based BLE devices witch i want to track.

What is the best way to achieve this? Bluetooth BLE tracking is warning about CPU power usage, is it advisable to do, or better choose a setup with MQQT and perhaps another setup e.g. Room Assistant.

Any advice how to set this up is appreciated.

Did you get anywhere with this? I have a bluetooth beacon that I was hoping to track (home/not home) with using the built in RPi bluetooth within HassIO… not sure it can be done successfully from the lack of forum info on it.
