I run HA as a VM on my Synology NAS and plugged in a Realtek Semiconductor BT dongle on my NAS.
The dongle is mapped in the VM Manager and worked fine for the last 6 month.
But after several restarts, the setup failed in HA.
Does anyone have a idea what I can do? simply reloading the device or restarting HA will not do the job.
Hi. Resetting Bluetooth settings on HA and NAS helped me. You can remove all saved devices and pairs from HA using the bluetoothctl remove <MAC address> command in the HA terminal, where <MAC address> is the address of your Bluetooth adapter. You can also remove the Bluetooth configuration file from the NAS using the sudo rm /etc/bluetooth/main.conf command in the NAS terminal and reboot both devices.
Thanks for the answer. I deleted the mapping of the dongle via the UI of the virtual manager on the DSM and added added it after a short time again … it worked for me as well
