I was wondering if anyone has come across a Bluetooth hub that can work like a zigbee hub. Currently running OS on Nuc and therefore only the built in Bluetooth works and the range is just crap.

Bluetooth is designed for an extremely small Personal Area Network. It is not designed to cover the area of a Zigbee coordinator. Zigbee is also a mesh network that can extend its range further.
In other words, you are unlikely to find that which you seek because Bluetooth is not designed for that use case.
Think i knew this but was hoping i was wrong as i have a number of Switchbot sensors and their API is just crap so was going to try using Bluetooth. Looks like i will have to repalce a few of them.
