About a week or possibly two ago, the Bluetooth integration on my SNUNMU mini PC was functioning well. I used Bluetooth to connect my SwitchBot Meter to Home Assistant. I’m not exactly sure what caused the issue, and I’m uncertain if it occurred after the latest Home Assistant update. Nonetheless, the SwitchBot integration suddenly stopped working. To troubleshoot, I attempted to remove one of the three devices I had set up, with the intention of reinstalling it to observe the outcome. During this process, I also noticed that the Bluetooth functionality was problematic.
Consequently, I decided to remove the Bluetooth integration entirely and then tried to reinstall it. However, when I attempted to add the Bluetooth integration, I received a message stating that no Bluetooth adapters were detected and that zero adapters were recognized. I even tried rolling back the Home Assistant core to a previous version, but this did not resolve the issue.
I’m seeking guidance on how to debug this problem. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
I powered off the machine and relocated it to a spot where I could connect a monitor and a keyboard. After that, I initiated the machine using a live Linux distribution to verify the functionality of Bluetooth, which indeed worked. Subsequently, I powered down the live distribution. After returning the device to its original location, I powered it on using home assistant. Surprisingly, the Bluetooth was automatically detected once more. This situation strikes me as odd since attempting to restart the entire machine earlier using the HA menu had proven ineffective. I had also experimented with unplugging the power cord from the device, but this approach had yielded no positive results.
Hi,
I’m facing same issue. The only working method (not 100% times working) is to shut down the mini PC, unplug it for some time (hours) and the plug-in it again…
This is happening since September every 2-3 days which is very frustrating to me.
