It should be clear, that normal blue tooth devices can not be configured with home assistant, it support only BLE (Bluetooth low energy) devices, after long exploration and tried many after i reached it. Is it totally as i said, or otherwise ?
Have you a specific example of such a “normal” bluetooth device in mind
Such as blue tooth jbl speakers, MI ear buds, even many blue tooth devices not shown in home assistant.
HA has no support for BT speakers that I know if, indeed.
Beyond the transport layer (BT), HA must also support the device itself, i.e. it’s protocol, and I don’t think ADSP and friends are supported.
Anyway, sound playing must go through some kind of media player in HA, e.g VLC
