Boot from M2 SSD not possible - Raspbian CAN boot

Hi there,
Hass.io can’t boot from the connected M2 SSD.
The Raspberry can boot without problems with the same SSD and Raspbian Lite.

I also tried the bootcode.bin and the timeout file - but without success.
Additionally I tried four different power supply’s - also no success.

Raspberry 3B and Raspberry 3B+
SSD Kingston A400 240GB M2
USB SATA chip ASMedia 1153E

Any help is highly appreciated.

Nobody has an idea here?

What I don’t understand is:
Why can Raspbian Lite boot from the SSD and Hass.io can not?

From my point of view that shows, that the problem has to be with Hass.io and not the hardware, right?
