Running Home Assistant OS and about to install M.2 HAT and NVMe, unlike the native Pi Linux which has utilities to copy OS to NVMe and to alter the boot loader, how is this done in HA OS?
I simply burned HAOS to an NVMe using Pi imager, connected it to the Rpi5 and ran it. No editing was required.
I installed the M.2 hat and inserted the NVMe card and then rebooted from the SD card, all came up with an orange LED hard on on the hat and an occasional green LED also. I then went to Setting in HA, System and Storage and selected Move data disk, selected the Samsung NVMe and it went ahead and copied and rebooted. After I verified everything was working, did a host shutdown and removed the SD card and powered on but apart from the green LED showing power, nothing else happened.
Can anyone explain how I get the HA OS and data onto the NVMe, and I don’t have the facilities to burn HAOS to the NVMe using Pi imager, and how to modify the boot sequence to start with the NVMe disk.
