Bosch Thermostat 2 missing entities in ZHA

Hello all,
I have a Bosch Smart Thermostat 2 (BTH-RA) and successfully connected it using ZHA and the install code.
Compared to the information on the Zigbee Device List (https://zigbee.blakadder.com/Bosch_BTH-RA.html) I am missing quite a few entities (% opening, boost, external temperature, …) and I don’t know why.

I have tried re-configuring it, re-paring and I’m out of ideas.

Has anyone any suggestions on how to get those missing entities?

Any help is much appreciated.

Submit a feature request or bug as a new issue to the ZHA Device Handlers repository on GitHub:

Also read this to understand why that is needed and what do do when someone codes a quirk for it:

Hey @medri @Hedda,
did anyone wrote a feature request for this Bosch thermostat?
I’m looking for exactly the same values/entities via zha, like % opening, external temperature, etc., as metri mentioned before.
For now there is no quirk to get this entities showing up.

Yes someone has, and everyone can contribute their feedback to the device support request here:

And here someone working on a custom quirk for it (ZHA Device Handler code patch) that you can test to give your input there too or wait for:

Again also check this out:

Note that you need to have a Zigbee Coordinator that is based on anmodern Silicon Labs or Texas Instruments chip to pair the device using its install code.

I sadly did not have time for it. If you have the time and skills I’m happy to help testing.

Thanks for heading me in the right direction.
This implementation and quirk is exactly what I was searching for. I think this entry can be closed because of this almost working solution.
