Bounty system for HASS

Currently there is no organized bounty system for HASS.

Yes, Bountysource exists but because HASS Doesn’t allow feature requests in github it can’t be used for hass.

I see a few options. None are as easy as I would like.

  1. a Discourse module (probably has to be made)
  2. custom software (outside of Discourse)
  3. have Bountysource extend their system. (I pinged them but it didn’t get anywhere).
  4. Create a separate github space for feature requests only, therefore being compatible with Bountysource

I would LOVE this.

I am sure tons of people would be willing to pay money for support of features. I would pay for:

  • Zmodo Cameras (A really obscure, but cheap and pretty good quality, brand of cameras)
  • August Smart Lock (I know we can control it through Wink but native is always better right)
  • Nest Protect. Seriously? Nest is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, Smart Home brand, how are we not supporting it properly.
