Brands images for custom integrations

I’d like to add icons and logos for HACS and ShellyForHASS to brands repo.
Those aren’t core integrations.
ShellyForHASS (https://github.com/StyraHem/ShellyForHASS/) will probably be someday, but I’m not sure about HACS.
Both are well known and used by many users.
Is there a reason why those integrations can’t display icons and logos?
Serving images from custom URL is disallowed (and that’s good) but it should be allowed to add brand images for custom integrations.

I’ve created images for ShellyForHASS but don’t want to create PR if it will get closed in a second.

I think the best solution would be to proceed like for translations: allow custom integrations to create a folder “logos” and load them from there
