Every time I update in the hassio UI it bricks my rp3. It connects to my network but in order for me to fix things I have to flash the latest version to the micro sd card and go through all the setup again. Any pointers would be welcomed.
I would try an other sd card
Been there done that. I have also tried 2 other rp3s
I’ve had that also… a period where i need to install again and replace the config files back.
For me it was again a new sd-card with now as test the history/logbook function disabled. I think during much writes such as an smartmeter of weatherpolling the sd-card is already corrupt for writes before you’re updating hassio.
So far it looks better now for a while!
Also power it off with pull out powercord too early within an update is a bad thing.
I had this a verry long time ago, back then I removed the home-assistant_v2.db file and then it worked again
(backup before doing that)
How do you remove files when tha damn thing in unreachable? I can’t connect via SSH nor HTTP!?!

I ussually take the SD card and read them from a Ubuntu or CentOS PC
