Some drivers (led) are unable to dim down below certain levels.
In home assistant , when setting brightness, this means the first portion of the slider does nothing actually.
It would be handy to have a per entity setting of what the minimum brightness value is so the slider scale would adapt to this.
Maybe good to add on to this a min & max configuration as well. So if you have a light that is flickering below a certain number and too bright above another number you could restrict HA from ever sending out a value outside that range (manually and in automations). Then the slider can remap 0-100% within the range that is usable according to the light’s configuration.
