Broadlink config file modified

Hi
I manually changed the name of the file that the broad link created in the storage folder.

Later I read that is not allowed.

It’s possible delete the file and start from the beginning?

How can I change the name off the Codes?

I save several rf signals with turn on name.

Thanks

Deleting the integration (just for that Broadlink if you have more than one) should do it. When you re-create the integration HA should discover the device again and create a new set of files based on its mac address. You’ll have to learn the commands again.

If you didn’t edit the contents of the file, you might try changing its name back to what it was. There should be two files for each device in the format:

<devicename>_<macaddress>_codes
<devicename>_<macaddress>_flags

Don’t know if this will work though.

I don’t think you can rename codes the Broadlink has already learned - you would have to delete them individually (see docs) and re-learn them. However, you could create switches, in which case you could give each switch any name you liked (also see docs).
