Broadlink integration not detecting a particular remote

Hi all,

I’m using the Home Assistant Broadlink integration, and it works fine for configuring a Sony TV remote, and a remote that controls LED candles.

But I also have a ceiling fan that uses a remote and Home Assistant won’t register the remote presses when I put it into learning mode (the Broadlink app works ok and it detects the remote signals fine).

The remote is RF and running on a 433.77MHz frequency.

I tried both the Broadlink Manager Windows application, and the docker version, to see if I could capture the codes manually, but neither of them work with my RM4 Pro S, see thread: Broadlink Manager Windows see invalid device, docker version sees nothing? · Issue #47 · t0mer/broadlinkmanager-docker · GitHub

Cheers,
Justin

Basic question, but are you passing command_type: rf to remote.learn_command?

Yes correct, sorry should have mentioned that.

Have upgraded to the latest HA version (2022.2.3), but the issue still exists.

Opened an issue on 7th Jan, but no response yet https://github.com/home-assistant/core/issues/63578
