I am very, very new to Home Assistant. I have lots of routines set up in Google Home / Assistant and for the most part they have been working.
My biggest problem is that I have some morning and evening routines which open or close my external shutters, which are running through Broadlink RM4 Pros, Google Assistant then says a catchphrase and I have a Spotify playlist play some sound effects or morning music. Lately, Spotify or Google plays something other than my playlist, which is infurating. I have been able to overcome this in the past by renaming my playlist to something more unique and updating my routines and then they work again. However, lately, nothing I seem to change has worked for the last 2 weeks, so I have turned to Home Assistant to see if this works any better.
I have followed tutorials to install and configure Home Assistant, which is running in VirtualBox on a Windows computer.
Home Assistant was able to discover my devices, including my Broadlink RM4 Pros. While the Broadlink lights up when I try to add remote functions for my shutters in Developer Tools > Actions, I am not able to see anything regarding Broadlink in the File Editor .storage section and therefore can’t see any entries for the remote buttons I have set up.
I have tried searching here for an answer, but I’m just not understanding much what is required to fix it. Greatful for any help and guidance.
