BroadLink RM4 and Windows Media Center

I know WMC is sunset but it’s Luddite-friendly which is important for my partner.

I’m trying to use Google Home to control my HTPC setup and the only device I can’t find is the controls for WMC.

I have setup a custom device and got the RM4 to learn the codes from the remote and while that works, there’s no option to use voice commands for custom devices.

The only PVR support I can find in the BroadLink device list uses Roku commands over wifi but I need IR.

Is there a generic PVR device I can “re-learn” with WMC commands?

Create a helper button and then an automation to perform the function. The button will then show up in Google home. That’s the way I turn my TV on with RM3
