Broadlink RM4 Pro to Homekit Switch

Hello. I currently have a Broadlink RM4 that I have set up to HA. I am using it as a simple control for an On/Off button press for a “not smart” window air conditioner and On/Off switch for a tower fan. The hex code for on and off is the same. I was able to set it up and got the program working to send the command and turn the devices on or off properly. I added them as scripts to run from the overview page.

I want to add this functionality to HomeKit and the Home app, which I was already able to do. However I want to add them as a simple switch since I cannot extract anymore functionality with them. My issue is since they are running as scripts they trigger the icon as On, then it shows as Off just a few seconds later in HomeKit. I would like to prevent this from happening so that if I turn it on it stays in the on position on HomeKit and doesn’t revert to off.

Is this possible to do. I am new to HA and had this running well on Homebridge prior to this.
