Broadlink self hosted

can i get broadlink to be self hosted ( with HA already on the same home server)
not sure where to put this but here goes. Most of my ‘smart’ house [ in spain] uses an IR bus controlled system , now out of date . Primarily used for blinds shutters& curtains. we used to install in the uk for hi end builds often to link with Lutron-contol4- crestron etc but it also works for lighting
now retired i wish to use broadlink with HA but to have it all on my unraid server so independent of third party clouds.
have yet only seen one attempt at doing this [techno tim]
any suggestions please for an open source novice

Hi Pedro, I installed a Broadlink RM4 pro a few days ago to do exactly that: control IR/RF devices from HA.
The HA Broadlink integration works local.

You have to do the initial setup of your Broadlink devices (configuring WiFi) through the Broadlink app on your phone. Note to stop that initial setup as soon as your Broadlink device has connected to your WiFi.

Do no continue registering the device to the Broadlink cloud as offered by the phone app!

From then on you are able to further configure and use your Broadlink devices purely local (through HA’s Broadlink integration as Nick4 has already pointed it out).
