I wish to deploy a consumer quality Home Assistant on several tablets around the house. I’m trying to make the UI as wife-proof as possible, which means hiding some of the things that she’s likely to inadvertently touch…such as items in the side and header views.
Currently, I’m developing using both a browser and companion app on my Mac workstation, with an iPad running the HA app to verify everything appears to be tablet-compliant. Ultimately, I’ll probably buy a bunch of cheaper Android devices as the actual deployment tablets.
Using the Browser_Mod control panel, I’ve switched off the header view, which worked perfectly in Safari, but had absolutely no effect in either of the HA apps.
Is this a known problem, or am I doing something completely daft? I did numerous Google searches for similar issues, but found none.
